About The Director





 

When asked why she thinks the Montessori method is so effective in helping children learn, during an interview with Clay Wilson of the Henry Herald, she replied, "Not just because someone said one plus one is two, they know why one plus one is two."

 

Ms. Siromi M. Binkley began educating children in Georgia using the Montessori method in 1966.  She is the mother of three and the grandmother of four.  All her children and grandchildren receive Montessori education.

Ms. Binkley has been owner, teacher, administrator or coordinator of the Morrow then Meadowlands Montessori Schools since 1980.  In this capacity, she interviews parents and students, organizes daily activities of students, assigns teacher duties, and handles an assortment of administrative duties, including fund raising.

Other Montessori associations include her work as, Administrator of the Chillua Hill Montessori School, and Primary Montessori Directress at Ashdun Hall.
